Boys Raise Funds
To Enter Tourney
Clayton Laithwaite's Gederich
All-Star Bantams are all set to
work their way through the next
big tournament. Fresh from win-
ning the. championship in the 20 -
team, Grey -Bruce -Huron tourney
at Wingliaim,_ the - locals ,are head-
ing for Woodstock now.
The boys will 'be collecting
empty pop bottles and surplus coat
hangers to finance their entry in
the big Woodstock ,bantani tourna-
ment. It gets underway on Mon-
day, April 22.
• Anyone who would like to help
the local boys, and who has sur-
plus coat hangers and empty pop
bottles .which may ,be picked up,
should call Bud Robinson, Ray
Jeffrey, Ernie Pinder or one af
the other players.

to the city to write off the year's

Seal Campaign. Rev. H. L. Jen-
nings closed the meet ing with

on who passed away on April 1-st in
- her 82nd year at the home of her

London. She was the wife of the
late Christopher Charles Kaine,
cousin of Mrs. M. Reid and 4t1 -
late Alexander Pentiand, Til'd a
former pastor of the Dungannon
Methodist Church. She is survived
by two sons, Rev. Irving B. Kaine.
of Toronto, and Dr. J. Melbourne
