Goderich At Huntsville
• atur •ay
nFridayand
A fast, powerful midget team from Huntsville. will clash
in the Muskoka town this Friday and Saturday evenings with
the-Goderich Midget Sailors in the first two games of a three -
out -of -five game series to determine the OMHA Midget "B"
title.
Here April 54 KY°
'Phe next two games will be
played at Goderich on Friday and
Saturday evenings, April 5 and 6.
If a fifth and deciding game is
necessary, a toss of a coin will
determine where the fifth game is
to be played.
It will be noted that there is a
two weeks' wait between when the
first two games are played at
Huntsville and when the series is
resumed in Goderich. Reason for
the delay is because the Huntsville
players will be writing examina-
tions following the series there on
March 22 and 23 and can not get
away until April 5 and 6.
While the Goderich Midgets are
an undeniably classy aggregation,
they will be meeting a team at
Huntsville that is rated as a speedy
and -powerful one. The entire
series isbound to produce hockey
of a high calibre for the midget
`B" championship of Ontario.
f Sailors Eliminate Elmira
! Goderich Midget Sailors gradu-
ated from the semi-finals of the
OMHA Midget "B" series when
they plowed through the Elmira
midgets to the tune of 74 at the
Memorial Arena here Friday even-
ing. Since Goderich won the first
game at Elmira Monday evening of
last week by a 72 count they took
the series by an overall 14-6 score.
The Goderich team now meets
Huntsville in the provincial finals
for the OMHA '•B" title. Hunts-
ville is said to be a big, fast, rug-
ged team and the finals should , 9.
pro -vide some real action.
Only about 350 people saw 10.
