Among those attending the
Museum convention here last
week was Wilbur F. C. Ander-
son, of .Ottawa, whose wife is
Curator of tiie 'Bytcwn Mus-
eum, Ottawa. His father, tile
late Rev. James A. Anderson,
was minister of Knox Presby-
terian Church, Godericli, from
1888 to 1910. Seated in the
new Knox Church just before
the convention meetings got

Marionne Johnston
Directs Play Here

presentation of "The Curious Sav-
age" last fall, Marionne Johnstan
and her husband, of Stratilord .dee
aided :to make Goderich their part
tune home. They purchased `pro-
perty at. Menesetun.g and spend
much time at ,their cottage there.
Work has been started on a new
cottage Which they are having built
on their property.
Marianne Johtision is again dir-
ecting a three -act ,play for the
Goderich group. "Angel Street"
will be a Western Ontario Drama
League entry and will be presented
MacKay Hall, November 28 and
November 29. Father Crawley, of
Windsor, will adjudicate the play
November 29.
-Marionne Johnston} has had wide
experience in drama work, receiv-
ing her early training at the Repel,—
tory Theatre •in Montre'iil. She was
with `he- Stratford Shakespearean
Festival for two seasons. During
the -pant year she has devoted much
of her time to the promotion of
drama in Western Ontario. She
conducted children's 'theatrical
work .in Stratford, adjudicated
semi-final competition's in Huron
County and final competitions of
Waterloo County held ir. Kitchener.
She also conducted drama work
shops in various centres and played
Kate Keller in "All My Sons," a
three -act production of Stratford
last spring.. She does her own
programs for the entertainment of
groups—•Serving in this capacity
for the Nurses' Alumnae at Wood-
stock and at the Ontario Conven-
tion of the Women's Institute held
in Guelph in September.
