There was a total of 22 greens in play. In addition to many Goderich entries there were somelrom Strat- ford, Mitchell, Tavistock, Seaforth, Clinton, Petrolia, Lucknow, Wing - ham, Palmerston while one sum- mer visitor competing was from Indianapolis. There was a wonder- ful array of prizes- presented through the generosity of Goderich merchants. First fi.ve winners were from Goderich with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Scrimgeour leading the parade with three wins and a plus of 26. Following right on their heels were Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Scott with three wins and a plus of 22. In third place were Drs I. R. Hall and Mrs. W. Heitman with three wins and a plus of 17. In fourth place were Mr, and Mrs. E. F. Sale with three wins and a plus of 15 and in fifth place, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Allison with three wins and a plus of 14. Chairman of the tournament committee was J. D. McLeod.
