Mrs. Graham, Goderich You are
really causing the Post Office a
headache when you do this.
For instance, even though you
addressed the letter "Mrs. Bruce
MacDonald, Goderich" you are
leaving it to the Post Office staff
to guess just which one of the
four persons of exactly the same
name in Goderich or immediate
district the letter is to reach.
By the same token, there are
about a dozen people .to whom the
letter could go if you addressed
it simply as "Mrs. W. Johnston,
Goderich-" Then, again there are
several persons by the name of
"Mrs. W. J. Johnston." There are
two persons.. by the name of 'Mrs.
E. Thompson_" There are four
persons by the name of "John
Graham," etc., etc.
That's why the Post Office staff
urge that complete details be
put in the address on letters.
They point out the slogan of the
Post Office: "Please have your mail
addressed to your Box Number,
R.R. Number or General Delivery."
That is, if you haven't either a
Post Office Box Number on it or a
R.R. Number on it, them` it must
be addressed "General Delivery."
A delay of from four to five days
can be the result when a letter is
not properly addressed.
If and when the day comes that
Goderich gets street delivery, it
will be essential to have the num-
ber and street address on each
letter. 'In the past two years, ac-
cording to Postmaster A. M. Ho-
muth, revenue at the Goderich
Post Office had jumped from
$37,000 to $51,000 4nnually. Should
Goderich get a new industry, em -

Almost every hour of every day, someone stands
for a moment in front of our showroom window
—and gazes longingly at a Cadillac.
Some of these people come on in, of course, and
get the facts—and let their dreams come true. But
a great many walk away—and it is to them that
we would address these sincefb words of friendly
counsel.
You ought to open the door and walk in and talk
with usc----because the economic truth shout Cadillac
ownership will very likely amaze you.

modest indeed, comparatively speaking. Numerous
models of other makes of cars actually cost more
—and every Cadillac represents an outstanding
investment in tams of value received.
And, most certainly, Cadillac owners pay no
penalty once the ear is in their hands.
Upkeep and maintenance expenses are unusually
reasonable. And the car's long life lowers deprecia-
tion to an unbelievable degree. In fact, Cadillac
traditionally returns—at resale time—a greater per-
centage of the owner's original investment than any
other car built today.
Such is the economy of Cadillac ownership. But
the great reason for owning it is the pleasure and
satisfaction it provides. In fact, the car is a never-
ending joy to possess and to utilize.
So if you should find' yourself standing in front
of our showroom window some dap ---come on in
for a friendly talk.
We will be happy to give you the wonderful facts
about how quickly you can have delivery of your
favourite model—and to tell you how much your
present car will be worth in trade.
