Mr. Scott Armstrong, recently with the RCAF, at Centralia, has purchased Gardner Motor Sales, effective June 1. Mr. Jack Gardner is now with Central C'hevrolet, of London. Thirty-five guests were present when Mr. and Mrs. John Fair - service, of Blyth, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Stan- ley Youngblut, and Mr. Youngblut, in Goderich. Mr. and Mrs. Hill have five daughters: Hazel, Mrs. J. Feagan, of Benmiller; Doris, Mrs. C. Parton, Toronto; Olive, Mrs. C. Baechler, Goderich; Norma, Mrs. K. Hazlitt, Benmiller; Irene, Mrs. Rex Duck- worth, Goderich. They also have 10 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Mr. Hill has two brothers, Wil- liam W., of Goderich, and Russel, of Mitchell, and one sister, Mrs. Harry McCool, of Brooklin. Mrs. Hill has three brothers, George Bean, of Saltford; Robert and David Bean, of Carlow and two sisters, Mrs. William Corey, of Auburn.. and Mrs. William Doak, Goderich. Mr. and Mrs. Hill will be at Nome to their many friends on Sunday, June 10, from 2-5 in the afternoon and 7 to 9 in the evening. The family dinner was held yesterday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hill with all their family and attendants. Peter Mac - Ewan, of Goderich, is second vice- president of the organization. Born in Nelson, B.C., Mr. Drew holds a degree from the University of Manitoba. Prior to his new appointment, he had been Ontario manager of a construction equip- ment company.
