IJospital. DayTe The annual Hospital ;1 ay Tea, held in MacKay Hall on Saturday, was a very successful affair. Mrs. Rivers, president of the Women's Hospital Auxiliary, and Miss Smith, superintendent sof the hospital, re- ceived the guests. The nurses and the Auxiliary of -the C-atradinrr Legion had ,tables of komeabaking for sale and the W omen's Institute, a "Colin try Store" table with plants and many attractive articles. The Orderof the East Star Sad a "Wite Elephant" table. , Tea was served at a number of attractively set small tables under the direction of Mrs. Robin and Mrs. George NLacEwan, assisted by a staff of helpers. At the very pretty tea table, tea was poured by Mrs. Kenneth Taylor and Miss Grace Strang, and later by Mrs. Sandy and Mrs. Watters. In the draw for the electric fry- ing -pan, for which a great many tickets had been sold, the lucky winner was Miss Jane Ainslie, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Ainslie. The financial returns from the tea, which included a number of cash donations as well as the proceeds from the various articles sold and the serving of tea, were very gratifying to the members of the Auxiliary. They will add to the funds building up -to spend on the new wing of the hospital.
