president, was leader for the day
and the theme of the meeting was
"Mission Tides" -the scores of one,
aof!5eial ambassadors (from Canada
overseas. Do we give the right
impression of a Christian Country?
Eleven members and three visitors
answered the roll call. 'Mrs. Tait
Clark gave a chapter in the study
hook and the meeting closed with
a hymn and the benediction.
Ther -executive of West Huron
Women's Institutes met in the hall
at Carlow on Monday afternoon.
All branches were, represented,
snaking a total of 40 ladies. Mrs.
Wilkins showed the ladies the
completed record of the museum
which was greatly admired. Plans
were made for the District Annual
to be held this year in Blyth on
June 6. Word was also received of
the visit of Mrs. Berry, president of
the A.C.W.W. in the London Area
on June 20th. Plans • are being
made for a reception and will be
completed by District Annual time.
At the close of the meeting tea
was served by the ladies of the
Tiger Dunlop institute and a social
half hour was enjoyed by all.
The members of Tiger Dunlop In-
stitute are reminded of their meet-
ing next Tuesday 'when a demon-
stration will begiven on. mats
