The forms were being distribut- ed here last week by Miss' Jean Marshall, school nurse. Forms have already been dis- tributed in several surrounding townships and there has been a very good response from parents. The work is being conducted by the Huron County Health Unit under the direction of Dr. R. M. Ald:is, medical ofizccf of health. The forms, supplied by the On- tario Department of Health, are the same as those ,being used in other sections of Ontario this year. -No official word has been receiv- ed on when a supply of apolio vaccine will be received in Gode- rich, but the 4Ontario government has said that shipments will start in a week or so to distribution points. In the meantime,. while health unit officials would like parents to sign the forms right away, there is no set time limit for their r,,e- turn._ Last year in Goderich, grades 1, 2 and 3 received two injections of the Salk vaccine. This year they will be given a third shot. All other pupils in the elementary schools will receive their .first two shots this time. When supply permits, the vac- cination service will be extended to collegiate pupils and the general public. But there are no immedi- ate plans for this. COUNTY JUNIOR FARMERS.
