The Sailors ended the seven
game winning streak for the Ex-
eter Mohawks when they upset
the tribe 6-4 before a good sized
crowd in Exeter, Tuesday night.
The Mohawks have only lost five
games this season and three of
them have been at the hands of
the Sailors.
White opened the scoring at the
7.57 mark in the first period on
assists from MacDonald and aVlorti-
mer. At 8.10, it was White again

The Goderich boys took a t early
lead in the gapie "and didn't once
relinquish it before the final bell.
The Juniors ran into a little
more trouble with their game
than did the Midgets but managed
to finish the third period strong
while the St. Marys boys began
to slow down.
In the first' period, Buchanan
and Robinson scored one each,
while Alexander netted two. Rana
drew the loan goal for St. Marys
in the first period. The locals
went scoreless in the second period,
while Hearn added two goals and
Rana another to tie the game up
In the final period of play, Jewell
scored twice for Goderich and
Calquhoun and McLean bagged
one apiece. Hossard scored the
final goal for St. Marys.
Getting assists for Goderich
were: Whetstone (2); •McLean; Rob-
inson (2); Alexander (2); Buchan-
an. St. Marys took out their goal-
keeper in the final • minute and
one-half of play but the three goal
margin was too great for them to
overcome.

MacDonald at 15.58, to put the
Tars out in front 3-0. Exeter
entered the scoring at 19,29, when
Hiedeman tallied. Twenty-three
seconds later, the White -MacDon-
ald -Mortimer line clicked again
with Mortimer sinking the shot
on passes from his two line -mates.
The second period was scoreless
for both clubs but Exeter came
back strong in the third perio
'and tied the score up at 4-4 on t
goals by Hiedeman and one
Loader.

hardly seems possible ,that half
the school year has passed. Pre-
parations are under w,iy .tor the
Variety Show whieb Is to• take
place at the end of February. Mr.
Tucker has organized an orchestra
to previele the music for the. show.
The snain topic around the
school et the present time Is, of
course, the annual At HomtudeiLte s
held this Friday.
Council' has been diligently work-
ing to make this year's formal a
success. Corsages are being given
away at' the door for the students.
The invitations went out last, week
and this weelt the students are
volunteering theip:-Ulnae to make
decorations for the "gym." Music
is being supplied by t e

The basketball schedule start
Wednesday, January 25th. The
boys play in Seaforth and the girls
play 'host to the Seaforth girls.

Clinton on Monday night to play
an exhibition game. They showed
great promise. there. The Juniors
beat Clinton 35-25. The Seniors
lost to Clinton 18-9. We wish the
players luck in their forthcoming
schedule and 'hope they retain the
championships wort by the school

'members at the Annual Members' Meeting. 4 The policies are
carried out by the board of directors, elected by the members,
who in turn hire the staff to • carry out the details.

herds, Grade herds, mixed herds, and many who do cross
breeding (all breeds included). All banded together for the
purpose of getting at a modest cost, the services of good bulls
that will transmit money making qualities to their offspring.
The County Breed Clubs and National Breed Association
are organizations operated separately from ours. However,
many people are members of these as well as of the• Waterloo
