ladies of • the Anglican Guild ot,
St. Mark's Church met last Wed-
nesday inthe church with Mrs.
Larry Glasgow in charge. The
Scripture lessiin was the Christmas
story from ,the Gospel of Luke and.
was read by Mrs. Fordyce Clark.
Mrs. Ed. Davies led in prayer. A
solo, "Dear Little Stranger," was
sung by Miss Ellen flier. The
•Christmas message was given by
Rev. Bren de Vries. Two poems
were read by Mrs.' Glasgow. The
business part was taken by the
president, Mrs. John Daer. The
minutes of last meeting were read
and adopted on motion of Mrs.
Thomas Haggitt and Mrs. Sam
Daer. The roll call was answered
by a donation to an Indian Sunday
School at M'uncey. After the busi-
ness period, Rev. Bren de Vries
took charge of the election of of-
ficers which resulted as follows:

vice-presidentt, Mrs. Thomas Hag-
gitt; secretary, Mrs. Alfred Nesbitt;

Clark; organist, Mrs. Gordon Tay-
lor; assistant organist, Mrs. Frank
Nesbitt.
Knox W.M.S. --- The Christmas,
meeting of the Women's Mission-
ary Society .of Knox Presbyterian
Church was held in the Sunday
School room. ,Before the Meeting
opened Mrs. Donald Haines played
softly the Christmas carol "Silent
Night." Mrs. Wellington Good, the
president, was in •charge and open-
ed the meeting with prayer. Mrs.
Herb Govier, . who was in charge
of the devotional period, took as
her topic, "Good Tidings of Great
Joy—to all People." She read a
missionary story of a child in
China. Miss Minnie Wagner • read
the Christmas story as told -..by Sit.
Matthew. The Christmas story, as
told by St. Luke, was read by Mrs.
Warner Andrews. Mrs. Govier led
in prayer. A duet, "Bethlehem
Lullaby," was sung by Mrs. Donald
Haines and Mrs. Wes. Bradnock.
Minutes were read by the secre-
tary, Mrs. F. Ross, and• ad ted,
and also correspondence rea 'lnd
treasurer's report given.
