Sudden Illness.—Village citizens and relatives were,shocked to hear of the sudden illness of Herb Stothers. Mr. and Mrs. Stothers had been visiting friends on Sun- day evening and returned in the car, shortly after midnight.- He was stricken with a weak spell as he was leaving the car to enter the house. Medical help was sum - maned quickly and he was taken by ambulance to Goderich hos- pital 'where Insrays will be taken this week. Mr. and MrS. Arthur Roach and Mrs. Ethel Hay, of Listowel, re- newed acquaintances her on, Sun- day, visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ryan and others.
