The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Lloyd: R: Carson, of Monc-
ton, N.B., and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pinder,
Goderich.
Rev. R. C. Belbin officiated.
Wedding music was played by Carl
Little, Montreal.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride was gowned in a floor -
length dress of white lace over
satin embroidered with sequins.
Her matching fingertip veil of
French tulle illusion was held by
a cap of embroidered organdy ap-
plique trimmed with sequins. She
carried a cascade of Johanna Hill
roses.
Miss Zoe Maiden, maid of honor,
wore a ballerina -length gown of
aquamarine 'brocaded taffeta with
matching headdress. She• carried
a cascade of multicolored pastel
sweet peas.
For the reception held at the
Ritz Carltgn Hotel, the bride's
mother chose a rosewood lace
dress with navy and white' acces-
sories, and shoulder corsage of
white carnations and lily of the
valley. The groom's mother as-
sisted in a navy crepe dress with

'Mr. and Mrs. Pinder will reside
in Montreal. The bride is a gradu-
ate of the Royal Victoria hospital
School of Nursing, Montreal, and
the groom is with the RCAF and
is stationed at'Lachine, Quebec. •

presided at the organ. Miss Linda
Bedard was soloist.
Given in marriage by her bro-
ther, Leonard Bloomfield, the
bride was charming in a waltz -
length gown of nylon net over
satin, which featured a tiered skirt
and matching jacket over the
strapless fitted bodice. A match-
ing lace cap completed her bridal
costume and she carried red roses
with white `satin streamers.
Bridal attendants were . Miss
Auleen Fisher, Goderich, as maid
of honor; Miss Marion Wilson, also
of Goderich, as bridesmaid, and
Miss Elaine Brisson, Zurich, as
flower girl. Miss Fisher chase a
yellow net over brocaded satin
gown in waltz -length with match;

carried a bouquet of mauve chry-
santhemums. The -, bridesmaid

.-. Town Council last Friday night
agreed • with a suggestion a "no
parking" area ,was needed ow the
south side of Bruce street beside
the ,,Juditli Gooderham Memorial
Playground and swimming pool.
The suggestion was made by the
Goderich Recreation and Arena
Committee which operates the
playground and pool during the
summer months.
In a letter to council, the com-
mittee pointed out that there was
a danger of children, running from
behind parked cars into the path
of oncoming vehicles.
"It's a very narrow street," com-
mented Mayor J. E. Huekins, "and
we .should co-operate in trying to
prevent any accidents."
Council decided to have a by-
law drafted to cover the ruling
anti to have "no parking" signs

RESULTS IN FINE
A speeding- 'chase around, Gode-
rich streets netted a local man a
fine of $10 and costs in court here
last Thursday.
'The fine was Imposed en William
Hector Laws on a charge of care-
less driving and his driverslie-
ense was suspended for 30 days
by Magistrate D. B. Holmes. A
plea of guilty was' entered on be-
half of the accused by his counsel,
J. R. Hunter.
