Todd had his tonsils removed, at
the Wingham hospital on. Friday.
Bab Murdie, of Kitchener, were
visitors for ,Mother's Day with Mr.
and Mrs. R. Woods and Mrs.
Mr. and -Mrs. NeelY Todd, David,
Janet and Mary, of Stratford, spent
Mother's, Day with Mrs. D. Todd.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Miller a,nd
Larry, of London, ipent the Mo-
ther's Day week -end with their par-
ents here.
The Sacrament of the Lord's
Supper will,. be observed in the
'United Church next Sunday morn-
ing with Rev. George Watt, of
Dungannon, in charge.
Mother's Day was observed in
the United Church on Sunday
morning when Harvey Snarling
'chose as his subject, "Fulfillin:g
Our Purpose." Miss Anne Todd
sang a solo, "What a Friend we
have in Mother," and with Mrs.
Frank Todd returned home from
the Wingham hospital on Sunday
and john MeQuilli.n was able to
go to the home of his daughter,
Mrs. Carl Johnston, -at Bluevale.
Mrs. Marion Irwin, of Delaware,
who enthralled the large crowds
with her selections on the cath-
edral chimes and the mirimba-
: phone at the Flower Sunday last
year will be present this year
again. Miss June Forst, of Simcoe,
will be the soloist and the speaker
will be Bruce Sutter, of Chatham,
who with Mrs. Sutter, leaves in
September for Korea. Flower
Sunday will be held Sunday, May
29, at St. Helen's United Church.
