of their faithful members, Mr. and

PORTER'S HILL, • Feb, 16.—The
W.A. of Grace Church held the
February meeting at the home of
Mrs. John McCowan with a large
attendance present. The presi-
dent, Mrs. Arlie Lockhart, opened
the meeting and Mrs. Bill Cqx led
in prayer. The Scripture was read
by Mrs. John McCowan. Roll call
was'answered 'by the exchange of
a Valentine. Reports were given
'by the visiting and quilt commit-
tees. Birthday bells wertedistrib-
uted and the travelling apron was
started out, " It was decided to
hold a' bazaar in 'the fall. A St.
Patrick's Day social is being plan-
ned by a committee composed of
Mrs.' Gordon Liscombe, Mrs. Wil-
-eiaier Harrison, Mrs. Renner, Lorene
Cox and Mrs. Donald Harris. An
organ fund committee was organ-
ized, consisting of Mrs. Bill Cox,
Mrs. Pete•Harrison and Mrs. Austin
Harris. Mrs. Elgin Cox had charge
of the program. During the after-
noon, two crib quilts were made.
'Mrs. Renner- led in prayer at the
close of the meeting. The hostess
. served lunch. The March meeting
will be at the home' of Mrs. D. Mc-
Dougall.
Sunday School. — The Sunday
School of Grace Church held an
executive meeting at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Harrison.
The superintendent, Mrs. Harrison,
opened the , meeting ° with a .sing-
song. The treasurer's report was
read by Mrs. Wilfred Hicks. Elec-
tion of officers, teachers and as-
sociate teachers resulted as fol-
