"A coach's dream wine true" is the, way Norval Anderson of Imperial.
Oil, Toronto, described bis elation after two of his oompahy's drivers
placed first and second in the straight truck clags at the eighth annual
Canadian Truck Roadeo 'in Toronto. Coached to national victory .by
Anderson was Ontario champion Dae LaRose (left), 29, of Rexdale,

THUNDERSTORM FEAR
DISPELLED ,BY GAMES
"A child can be made to forget
his fears and • may even become
fascinated by the fireworks put on
by nature if only his attention is
directed to the beauty of the dis-
play." This is the opinion of Han:
fax weatherman Rube Hornstein,
who talks about various aspects of
the weather every Sunday on CBC
Trans -Canada.
Rube says: "A thunderstorm may
even be made a guessing game.
The children may be asked to point
the place in the sky 'where the
ext flash• of lightning will occur.
Or they may try to estimate the
lapse of time between a lightning
flash and the subsequent thunder.
At any rate, It's invest important
for adults to show no fear of the
thunderstorm in the presence of
children, in order to avoid the pos-
sibility of transferring this unde-
sirable and needless emotion to
them,"
Wife—"Yo' don't love me any
mare. When you see me crying
now, you don't ask why."
Husband — "I'm awfully sorry,
my dear, but these questions have'
already cost :me such a lot of
money."
