Rev. R. G. MacMillan officiated, and the organist was Frank Bisset, Goderich. 1 Given in marriage by her.father, the bride wore a strapless ballet gown of white net over satin. The pleated bodice was topped by a short sleeved jacket, and her wrist - length veil was held in place by a lace cap. She carried a Colonial nosegay of^ pink roses and ivy leaves. Mrs. George Robertson, Carlow, as matron of honor chose a strap- less ballet length gown of yellow embossed organdy, wit wik matching bolero and cap and carried a nose- gay of mauve carnations. The groom's mother assisted, wearing a gown of white- printed hiteprinted taffeta with navy and white accesosries, white knitted stole and a corsage of red roses. For a wedding trip to Lake Placid, N.Y., and, points south, the bride donned a navy dress with white trim and matching reversible duster, navy accessories and a cor- sage of pink roses. The costume was designed for her by a member of the Stratford Shakesperian Festival, where she is employed, On their return the couple, will reside on Aubert street in Goderich SKELTON-PARRISH, ' Listowel United Church, decor- ated with white blossoms, pink tulips and fern, was the scene of a pretty May wedding last Satur- day at 2 , p.m., when Rev. D. J. Martin, at a double ring ceremony, united in marriage Marilyn Anne Parrish, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley J. Parrish, of Listowel, and John Ronald Franklin Skelton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Skelton, of Goderich. The bride looked charming in a floor -length strapless gown of white nylon net over satin, shirred -bodice and festooned skirt .over crinoline and hoop skirt, with pointed long- sleeved matching bolero. Her fingertip illusion .veil . was held .in place by a coronet of seed and tear drop pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink. sweetheart roses and lily of the valley. A diamond heirloom pendant and matching earrings , completed her ensemble. She was attended by 'Mrs. Doug, Kilpatrick, Stouffvilie,' as matron of honor, and Miss Sylvia Skelton, Goderich, as bridesmaid, who wore identically -styled floor -length strap- less gowns of blue nylon net over taffeta with fitted shirred bodices and tiered bouffant skirts. Bolero, and mitts with matching headdress, outlined in flowers, completed the ensembles. They carried bouquets of pink and blue sweetheart roses. From the nipped waist, the floor -length skirt fell in soft fullness ending in a chapel train. A fingertip veil was. held by an embroidered coronet. She carried a prayerbook arrange - Ment of pink rosebuds and stephanotis. Attending the ' bride were Miss Ruth Reid, maid of honor, Miss Joy Peach and Miss Margaret Mac- Nabb, bridesmaids.
