Rev. 21:21. These are be a few words in an effort to describe some of the glories of heaven. There isn't any reason why we should not accept this description as literal. Very recently a nationally known preacher denied the reality of "the gates of pearl," "the streets of gold," "the creation of Eve from Adam's rib" and the necessity for "the • sawdust trail." One would expect DECLARATIONS like these to to fall from the LIPS of Voltaire, Payne or any agnostic or SKEPTIC. It is hardly in order for a Christian MINISTER to attempt to DISCREDIT the plain teaching of G9D'S WORD. Many persons are prepared to believe in the Bible that which they can fathom with their finite mind. If this BOOK has nothing in it that TRANSCENDS our reasoning power it is certainly not God's Book. The SUPERNATURAL God is the author of a SUPER- NATURAL Book. The Bible does not merely CONTAIN the Word of God, IT IS the Word of God. There is much which • the greatest intellectuals cannot explain in God's CREATION. 2 Why should the miraculous be rejection in God's REVELATION? When God says, "Fire," "Pearl," "Gold," "Rib" or "Born again" Hemeans exactly what He says.
