ote On Election
Duty implies doing what one is bound
to do. In totalitarian countries, citizens
have been forced to cast their ballots at
an election to show their approval of
their government. The only hitch was
that there was only one name - on the
ballot they marked. -
In this country, we like to think that
it is a PRIVILEGE to vote. Your privil-
lege to choose from a list of candidates
the men you think best suited . to run
your municipal affairs.
As an eligible voter, take advantage of this privilege
by casting your ballot on
Monday, December 7, Municipal
Election day
 VOTE AS YOU L1KE---BUTVOTE
In 1951, out of 2,745 eligible voters, 1,819 voted. In 1952, out of 2,813 elig-
ible voters,, only 1,716 voted. Help bring the* percentage up by voting on
Monday. It will be an indication of. your interest in the present and future
welfare of Godericit.
