From then until the -last inning the goose eggs kept appearing regularly on the scoreboard for the Flyers as the local batsmen couldn't seem to get to Port Elgin Pitcher Guy Sparrow. Goderich started the scoring with two runs in the second stan.a and added one- in the third. The locals counted three more in the fourth and one in the fifth and ended their scoring with a single run in the seventh.
