THE VOICE OF BETHEL
THE CROWNING DAY
The world and more especially the British Commonwealth
Is astir with preparation for a great event,
On June 2 ndmldid great color, pageantry and ceremony
Quceen Elizabeth I1 will be officially crowned. Many rephe-
sclntativers from across her vast domain will he present to pay
her he mage,
It will be a glorious sight and will incite increased love and
..loyalty..4nN--then-.tteartss cot --liar subjects.
God Save the Queen,
With, nil due respect to Her Gracious Majesty 1 would like
.to speak of a greater coronation, a vaster domain and embracing
eternity. This coronation has been planned for thousands of
years by the Infinite (nod. 1 refer to the crowning of Jesus
Christ as Kingof Kings and Lord of Lords. The excelling glory
of this marvellous event Is too great for human comprehension.
Well has the hymn writer penned these lines'
Jesus shall reign' where'errthe sun
Does his successive Journeys run;
His kingdom spread from shore to shore,
'Till moon shall wax and wane no more.
Te this coronation everyone is invited; not one k excluded.
"The spirit and the bride say, Come, And let him that heareth
say Come . , , . And Whosoever will, let him take the water of
life freely." Rev. 22;17. Can you conceive of any one ignoring
or rejecting such a priceless invitation. The precious blood of
Christ was the price paid to make it possible. Yet many are
spurning the love t1f Christ. You cannot crown Christ In heaven
until first Ile is crowned in your heart,
