The hostess served t refreshments. 54 Years Married.—Mr. and Mrs.I J. C. Stoltz quietly observed their; 54th wedding anniversary on Sun- day. The marriage of 54 years ago was solemnized at New Dun- dee. After their marriage they came by horse and buggy to Hul- ,Ilett Township. This 80 -mile trip was made in two half days driving. After their trip they took posses- sion of a farm on the Blyth road, where they. resided until four years ago, when they retired and moved to Auburn. They have a 1 son, Eldon of Aurora, one daugh- 1 ter, Mrs. Chopin of Wingham. A . daughter, Edith, passed away 12 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Stoltz { are devout members of Knox Pres -1 byterian Church, where Mr. Stoltz `• is a member of the session and Mrs. Stoltz" is a life member of the Women's Missionary Society. At the close of the Sunday school service on Sunday they *ere pre- sented with a pot of yellow 'mums by the Ladies' Aid. ' Mr. and Mrs. Stoltz are enjoying fairly good' health and their - many friends wish them many more annivers- aries. United Church W.M.S.—The Jan- uary meeting of the W.M.S. of { Knox United Church was held at the home of Mrs. Herb Mogridge with Mrs. Fred Toll in. charge of 1 the opening exercises and Mrs. W. J.
