NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING
RESULTS ARE PROVED
Tangible evidence that newspaper
advertising gets results is, provided
almost every day in the utilises of
the Signal -Stag.
Recently, the Goderich Business
College carried a display advertise-
ment on .,'these pages announcing
`the resumption of night school
classes for the autumn. The Sig-
nal -star Was published on Thurs-
day. On Friday a call dame from
the school to say that three up -
plications had been made the pre-
vious night.
The school attributed the success
of their 'Signal -Star advertising to
the careful lay -out of the display
with its eye-catching\.qual1ties.
Another example of the same sort
of quick result was given by a
woman who -lost a handbag contain-
ing $47 on the Square. She' in-
serted a classified advertisement in
the "Lost and Found" column of
the Signal -Scar. The next day, the
proprietor of a local store phoned
the Signal -Star to say that he had
diseovered the lady's handbag on
his premises.
The Signal-iStar has facilities to
advertise your needs, whatever they,
are, to the public of the district.
Advertising in the Signal -Sar is
READ and remembered.
