early Friday morning where he had

Ile had been in poor health for
some time although immediate
cause of his death was cerebral

an adherent of the United Church.

druggist, of Sarnia, died ou Thurs-
day lust atter a lengthy illness.
His Wife who survives, was the
former Minnie Craigie of Goderich.
Ile was tt native of Stratford and
entombment was made iu the Avou-
dale mausoleum in that -city after a
funeral service at Sarnia.

TEMPLE CLARK
The death of Temple Clark oc-
curred suddenly at his house to
Lucknow •on August 13, from a
heart attack. Mr. Clark, who was
iu his tilst year, was born at.
Auburn, one of a family of eleven
of whom the sole survivor now is
Oliver Clark of Goderich, aged 01
years. 'Ile was a tailor by trade
and served for several years on the
Lucknow School Board and more
recently on the Council. He leaves
his wife, the former Jessie Dorothy
Douglas of Luckuow, and one sort,
('pl. Douglas Clark of the R.C.M.P.
stationed at Sprague Man.

Mrs. Donnelly M. Johnston passed
away suddenly at her home on
Wednesday, August 20, in her S0th
yea r.
Formerly Entity Marie Curran',
She was bora its Goderich, daughter
of the late Sallyann Martin and
Samuel Curran.,After her utur-
riage, she lived iMilton, Preston,
Owen Sound', Gilt and -Brantford,
where her husband was a super-
visor with the Canadian National
Railways. -After his retirement she
returned to Goderich 17 years ago.
She was a member of Knox Pres-
byterian 'Church, the W.M.S. and
the Ladies' Aid Society. Mr. ,John-
ston prtdecased her four years
ago.
