marriage by the Rev. C. 13. Woolley
in -Hackett's Unite(! Church. The
bride is the daudetdr of Gordon
Irwin, Goderich; . nd the late Mrs.
Irwin, and the groom is the sou
of John Hunter, Melita, Man., and
the late Mrs. Hunter.
Miss Elmira Alton played wed-
ding music for the ceremony, which
was performed in a setting of white
lilacs and tulips.
Gowned in white satin trimmed
with rippling Chantilly lace, the
bride came down the aisle with
her father, who gave her in mar-
-riagge. The fitted bodice joined to
dodhle lace panels both front and
bark, formed a softly flared skirt
which flowed into a lace -edged
train. Leg o' mutton sleeves and
a bertha collar finished the bodice.
'Her fingertip veil of embroidered
silk was caught to a heart -shaped
tiara euerustcd with std pearls,
and the white Bible she carried
was topped, by red roses.
\liss Helen Irwin, Stratford, was
her sister's . maid of houo/aud
Miss Eleanor Edgar, Clinton, was
bridesmaid. Miss Irwin was cos-
tumed in cape -topper gown of
mauve taffeta end net and she
carried 'a colonial nosegay of yellow
melts. --Miss Edgar._ wore a gown
of green nylon over white taffeta
and carried- a colonial nosegay •�f
pink roses.
The groom was attended by ,his
brother, Alan Hunter, and :he
ushers were Spence Irwin and
Vernon Hunter.
Following a reception at the
Brunswick Hotel, Wingham, the
bride and groom left for a honey-
moon 3n Western Canada. The
bride wore a navy 'suit, navy and
pink accessories and a .corsage, of

\Worohestershire sauce

4 (5 lb.) chickens
8 (-1 oat.) sliced mushrooms
4 (4 oz.) . cans pimiento
1 cup minced parsley
1 cup minced onion
1 cup buttered crumbs
Cok chicken and dice. Cook rice
in boiling salted water. -Meantime,
make a cream sauce of Milk,
chicken broth, shortening ° and the
flour mixed to a paste with some
of the cold! milk. Add Worchester
sauce, salt ;and pepper. Then add
diced chicken (about 3 qts.), rice,
(trained mushrooms, sliced pimiento,
parsley and onion. Pour into
greased' shallow pans. Top with
buttered crumbs. Bake in electric
oven of 450 degrees for 10 minutes.

2 cups sliced' celery
12 !hard -cooked eggs
6 tomatoes, .-cut in wedges -
('outbine cabbage, greens (spin-
ach, lettuce or endive), green pep-
per and celery. Add a raw egg
and tossed among mixture. Chill:
Before serving add eggs, tomatoes
and 21/2 cups French dressing. -
Note: Need -1 cabbage, 4 'heads
lettuce, 1 pepper, 1 bunch celery,

2 lits. coconut (shredded)

Drain black cherries. -Combine
remaining ingredients and chill in
electric refrigerator. Add , cherries
before serving in sherbet glasses.
