Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Milligan
and Clara were Saturday visitors

their grandparents for a weekend
visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin,

Farewell party \
WHITECHURCH — A farewell
patty was held Saturday evening
-at the Community Memorial Hall
here for Mr. and Mrs. Russel
Ross. It was sponsored by their
neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Morrison and Mr. and Mrs. Joe
King. Unfortunately, early in the
evening, Mr. King became ill and
had to be taken by ambulance to
the Wingham and District Hos-
pital.
Music for dancing was supplied
by Tiffin's Orchestra. Mr.
Morrison spoke words of ap-
preciation to Mr. and Mrs. Ross.

Women's Institute progressive
euchre party was held Monday
evening in the Community
Memorial Hall.
!Ugh scores were held by Mrs.
Wesley Tiffin and Mrs. John
Gaunt who played as a man. Mrs.
John curie held the low lady's
card and Jean- Wilton the low
gentleman's card. Angus Fal-
coner won the draw prize.
The committee in charge, Mrs.
Nettie Ross, Mrs. Dan Tiffin,
Mrs. Bill Rintoul and Mrs. Jim
Wilson, served lunch.
The next euchre party will be
,held December 8.

THERE WAS FOOD GALORE at the hot cupboard luncheon served at .St. Andrew's
Presbyterian Church last Friday. The tables were never bare for long as hungry people
streamed in to be fed and finally left satisfied, only to have more people fill their places.
