MEETING.
On Tuesday, November 25, 1975
at 8:15 p.m. the Maitland Wo-
men's Institute 'will meet at the
Town Hall. We are learning to
crochet so bring a large crochet
hook and some wool. The roll call
will be "What I read to educate
myself". The motto will be

Noah Ries dies at
FOrdWich home
Noah John Jacob Ries passed
away Friday, November 7, at his
residence in Fordwich.
He is survived by his wife,
Eleanor Irene Hossfeld; one son,
Willard of Stoney Creek; two •
daughters„ Mrs. Harold
(Thelma) Mullins of Aylmer,
P.Q. and Mrs. Ronald (Ethel)
McMichael of Wroxeter; three
sisters, Mrs. Hanna Seip and
Mrs. Herman (Luvina) Horst of
Hanover, Mrs. Harry (Marie)
Harms of St. Clair Shores, Michi-
gan; and nine grandchildren. He
was predeceased by one sister,
Clara Weder, and three brothers,
Norman, Fred and Theodore.
Mr. •Ries was in his 77th year.
Funeral service was held at
Trinity Lutheran Church, Kurtz-
ville, on Monday, November 10,
at two o'clock. Interment fol-
lowed in the Lutheran Cemetery,
Kurtzville.
