ABOUT 50 PERSONS crowded ib10 the new office of the
Huron -Perth County Roman Catholic Separate School
Board for the official opening last Wednesday, while close
to 50 others waited in the corridors and hallways. The new
offices are located in Dublin, just a short distance away
from their previous location in Seaforth.

Commencement night at F. E.
Madill Secondary School a was
crowned by a special event Fri-
day: the presentation of over 30
proficiency and special awards to
deserving students. The gym hall
was filled to overflowing by
parents and graduates as stu-
dents stepped up to receive the
awards and accept the congratu-
lations of their parents and class-
mates. •
The awards totalled over $6,000
for the students, most of whom
will be continuing their education
at universities and colleges
throughout Ontario.

Mrs. Thomas MacDonald visit-
ed Saturday with Mrs. Frank
Earls of London and on Sunday,
went to Windsor, accompanied by
Miss Florence Edwards, and
attended 'the 50th ,anniversary of
the school in Windsor where Miss
Edwards had taught for 18 years
prior to her retirement.

MOST REV. JOHN /SHERLOCK, auxiliary bishop of Lon-
don, was the honoured guestlast Wednesday at the official
opening of the new offices for the Huron -Perth Roman
Catholic Separate School Board. The offices are' in Dublin in
a building that previously housed an Ursuline Order Con-
vent and high school.

Preliminary Public Meetings
of the Royal Commission
on Electric PowerPlanning
Ontario Hydro welcomes the appointment of the Royal
Commission on Electric Power Planning to inquire into the
conceptual aspects of long range planning of the electric
power system for the Province. Our "Preliminary
Submission to the Royal Commission on Electric Power
Planning"' was forwarded to the Royal Commission in May,
1975. It briefly describes the` present electric power
system, the system expansion projects seen as required on
a priority basis, the public participation 'procedures as
developed to date and some possible issues for discussion
during the public hearings of the Royal Commission
This submission is available free of charge from your local
Ontario Hydro Office.
