Plans were initiated to start on what will be a three -stage expan- sion for the Belgrave Co-op. • The first stage is unveiled today, in the grand opening of the new headquarters. The building is spacious and roomy, offering dose to 4,000 square feet of space as compared to 1,100 square feet in the old building. The second stage of the proposed expansion calls for another 5,000 square feet of warehouse space to be added onto. the new building.. The old building will then be demolished. The .final phase will see a new mill to replace the old one. But Mr. Lougheed is content, at the moment, to contemplate the present and relax for a very short time after the work involved in moving from the old building into the new quarters. The construction of the new building didn't disrupt business as usual in the old, since it is built behind the original structure.
