We wild like to welcome all
our avid readers to our first edi-
tion of the Turnberry Courier for
the 1975-76 school year. Everyone
is quite busy in their educational
pursuits and we hope to provide
you with newsworthy, enjoyable
reading each week. Grades -three
and four have been quite busy
Ivyriting stories and studying the
life cycle of butterflies. The
science program at the Inter-
mediate Level have been making
substantial use of the outdoors as
a classroom.
The Hungry Visitors
Once an uncle and nephew vent
out fishing. The nephew, Doug,
went up the river. Peter, the
uncle, stayed behind because he
was tired. He no sooner fell as-
leep when some bears came to
the camp. They were hungry.
Doug heard a growl and went to
see. He ran to the tent to where
his rifle was. He shot into the air

A New Rife
.For i Gaterpglar
Not too long ago three girls in
Grade Four discovered two black
and yellow caterpillars. We put
some milkweed into the jar for
the new friends into
food. The
caterpillars turned into a green,
gold speckled chrysalis and one
emerged. Our class found an
orange and black Monarch but-
terfly in the jar. After its wings
were dry we let it go out the wind-
ow to fly south. All of us hope it
his a happy flight.
