Meanwhile, it has been an- nounced by the CBC that network has obtained the television rights to coverage the Canadian Foot- ball League for the next three years, the coverage to be shared by the CTV network. This is the first time the league has granted the rights for longer than a year at a time. Extending through the 1977 season, the new agreement calls for telecast of regular Season play, east and west play- offs and the Grey Cup Game. Don Chevrier returns to call the CBC play-by-play action and color commentary will be given by Don Jonas, .replacing Russ Jackson wo has given up the television duties with CBC to become head coach with the Toronto Argonauts. 0-0-0 The inevitable is about to happen. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton have learned they can't live without each other and they are thinking of marry- ing again. No surprise to me! Since her marriage to the late Mike Todd, it has been fairly obvious that Ms. Taylor needs a man who will dominate her and wear the pants in the family. Protector - friend - confidant - Todd was all to her and in many way, Burton is a lot like Todd. Lately, her constant companion has been Henrys Wynberg, about as different from Burton as day is from night. She doesn't want a man who is content to live in her shadow. Whether or not it really comes off, remains to be seen. Whether or not it lasts, is another thing. Maybe both have learned some- thing from the divorce and will try harder this time.
