Through legislation, the Davis government has made sure that its employees can't criticize it. We are Crown employees and civil servants. We live with severe restrictions on our civil rights. Our political rights. are almost non-existent. We can't canvass for the candidate of our choice. We can't even speak or write publicly on any issue that may be part of a political party's platform. For instance, we can't talk about taxes, housing or , education policies. We can't take part in radio hot line shows, or put up a sign to support our favourite candidate. All we ask is our basic civil Liberties. The right to take part in the democratic process. It costs taxpayers nothing. We hope you will vote for civil rights ... for everyone. We don't want our rights knocked about.
