Minority groups
studied by WMS
Mrs. Bennett Mitchell was
hostess for the August meeting of
Molesworth WMS when 16 ladies
attended.
Mrs. Lloyd Felker conducted
the opening exercises and the
business to be brought before the
meeting.
The study on "Strangers in the
Camp", the problem of the
minorities, was presented by
Mrs. Frank Kemp with Mrs. Mel
Dennis and Mrs. Tindall
McKercher assisting. Among the
minorities are the Ko eans in
Japan, the hill tribes in 'Taiwan,
the Canadian Indians and the
immigrants from Europe and the
Chinese in four main centres,
Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto and
Montreal.
The problem of minorities
cannot be solved by a suave "In
Christ there is neither Jew nor
Greek". Unless somebody acts,
the minority is swallowed up in
the majority. Real fellowship
consists in accepting the other
man as Christ accepts him, cul-
ture and all, coming to know and
love his tradition without at the
same time losing touch with one's
own.

IT'S FUN TO PLAY with the fire hydrant, especially if you get permission from the right
people. Phillip Foxton swung it lust right by being at the right place at the right time to
help town workers flush out the water mains last week.
