attended the 50th anniversary
service in Blyth United Church on
Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Alan Filson of
Chatham visited with Mr. and
Mrs. Ross Anderson on Sunday.
Robert Steen, cousin of Herson
Irwin and his friend, Donald
Gerrie of Winnipeg, visited last
week with Mr. and Mrs. Herson
Irwin and other relatives in the
vicinity.
On Sunday Mr. and Mrs.
Herson Irwin called on Mr. and
Mrs. George McGee of East
Wawanosh and also Mr. and Mrs.
Scott Reid of Wingham to con-
gratulate them on their 25th wed-
ding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Willard Arm-
strong spent a few days in Kit-
chener and visited with Mr. and
Mrs. David Hanna and family.
They also called on Mr. and Mrs.
Stuart Machines of Waterloo.
-Mrs. Lewis Cook spent a few
days with Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Cook and family of Shelburne last
week.
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Sargeant of
Richmond, Indiana spent the
weekend with their uncle and
aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Vannan.
Mr. and Mrs. Glyn Wide of
Mount Hope spent a couple of
days last week with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Garner Nicholson.

BELGRAVE - The fanally of
Mr. and Mrs. George McGee
3, Wingharn entertained their
parents on Sunday in honor Qt
their 25th wed anniversary.
A dinner was held at noon for
the immediate family at the
Candelite Inn at Goderich.
An open house was held at the
McGee !residence in the afternoon
follow/A the dinner. Relatives,
friends and neighbors from
Brantford, London, Seaforth, Kit
chener, Wyoming, Blyth, Dun-
gannon, Londesboro, Teeswater
and Wingham and the immediate
area were in attendance.
The couple were married on
June 10, 1950, and have resided on
their farm on the 10th concession
of East Wawanosh since that
time. They have a family of four
children, Linda, Mrs. Ralph
Logan of Wyoming; Marian, Mrs.
Jed Strauss of Kitchener; Mar-
lene Jim at home, and one
' gran on, Kevin Logan of Wy-
oming.
