ence 15". 'Known as project 2s;
the government 'budget for the
program is estimated at 2.034
million dollars.
The program provides summer
employment for conservation
and environmentalwork of -
manual, clerical and technical
natures. It is operatedas was
SWEEP in co-operation with the
•38 Conservation Authorities
across Ontario.
Approximately 1,190 positions
will be available for secondary
and post -secondary students.
They . will gain, it is hoped; not
only practical conservation con-
sciousness toward- the environ-
ment.
Students employed in this pro-
gram will again, be in Listowel,
Wallace and Elma areas.
