It was our pleasure to supply building

built on faith
"We just prayed."
This statement, says Minister
L Fex, is the only secret for
success and the means whereby a
new Wingham Bible Chapel will
soon' be completed for a grand
The new building, located on
Boland Street, cost an estimated
$75,000, Mr. Feat explained re-
cently. When it is completed, the
building will be practically debt -
free. As Mr. Fex described it, this
situation is hardly remarkable to
the members of the assembly.
assembly.
"When we first started thinking
about a new place," Mr. Fex ex-
plained, "we asked the Lord for a
sign. Then in came an anony-
mous gift tat almost $11,1180. 104,

the evidence of things not seen,,",
That strength of faith is ''per-
haps the reason the assembly has
grown from about 15 members
from years ago to about 75 merit
bers at present. When the as-
sembiy first gathered, they Were

Street is a
new startlinging chnge from
the old Bereah Chapel. 1t looks
like a regular house,.and to all ef-
fects and purposes it is a house.
The design 'was the wank of a
building committee composed of
Claude Martin, Ben Hayden, Dan
Stuckey, Dr. 11,„ L. Clarke and
Cliff lieffer, The rationale for the
design is "the ' thought of to-
getherness of the people," Mr.
Fex said.
The design for "togetherness"
is a uniting theme throughout the
building. The focal areas are the
family room and the assembly
room. Branching .off from these
are the kitchen, vagus utility
rooms - and Bible study rooms

Lunches. can provide •
adequate nutrition
Many students and office
workers depend: on the carried
lunch for their mid-day meal
away from home: Therefore, this
meal must provide adequate
nutrition to carry -them through
the day.
'Sandwiches form the back bone
of most travelling lunches and to
be most
their salt, they should
contain a satisfying protein
filling such as meat, poultry, egg,
fish, cheese or peanut butter
which is a favorite among young-
sters and is a nutritious, inex-
pensive protein supplement for
meat.
If the meat or poultry is sliced,.
make the slices thin ones, as too
much processed meat as a filling
is unappetizing, if chopped or
miced the addition of salad dres-
sing, chopped pickle or minced

WORKERS HURRY in an effort to complete the Wingham Bibl h peI in time for the
grand opening June 8. The new building is located at the end ogland St.
•onign will make a moist. filling
with real appetite appeal.
Sandwiches can be made from
any kind of bread, sliced thick or
. thin or on rolls hard r soft. Be
sure to ' use different kinds of
bread occasionally to give
variety to the lunch. Sandwiches
can get pretty boring if you stick
to the same old bread and spread.
Sandwiches may be made up
ahead of time and frozen so as. to
save time in the mornings. Most
fillings freeze well but there are a
few exceptions. Avoid freezing
tomatoes, cooked eggs, lettuce,
celery,radishes, green onions,
mayonnaise and salad dressing.
Thaw the sandwiches in their own
wrappings. The sandwich taken
from the freezer just before leav-
ing for work or school will be just
right for eating, at lunch time.
Frozen sliced . bread is con-
venient to haven ihand- as butter
and fillings spread more easily
without tearing the bread and
when closely wrapped the frozen
bread will keep the filling chilled.
This is good especially for the
lunch which will sit in a desk or
locker for several hours before it
is -eaten.
Soup or a hot beverage, milk,
fruit juice can be carried in the
cup thermos bottles which are
available. •
Pack `goodies' in the lunch to
add tfiat special something. Pick-
les, radishes, carrot sticks, a tiny
packet of raisins, couple of
prunes, a few salted peanuts are
a few suggestions. Everybody ,
likes to find a few cookies in their
lunch even in just for the after-
noon break.
Remember that refreshing
foods, especially those containing
protein, can reduce a tired feel-
ing and give you a lift with more
energy to face the afternoon.
Send your student back to school
after the mid -winter break with
exciting nutritious Lunches.
The human body contains two
types of muscle, according to St.
John Ambulance. These are the
voluntary muscles found in the
limbs, the head and/the neck and
the walls of the trunk. They are
controlled by the brain and cause
all movements of the body and
limbs. The involuntary muscles
are in the walls of the stomach
and intestines, in the air passage
and in most of the internal organs
and blood vessels and in the
heart. They are not under the in-
fluence of the will, but continue to
work during hours of sleep.
THE WINGHAM BIBLE CHAPEL stands almost com-
pleted as workmen still race the clock to finish everything
for the grand opening ceremonies this weekend. The
T-shape building is set on over an acre of land at the end of
Boland Street.
