Mr. Kemble's visit was part of an ex- change arranged by Presbytery for the church's centennial year. —Mr. and Mrs. Bob Holmes and family of Galt visited friends and renewed acquaintances in town over the weekend. —With the gorgeous holiday weekend weather as an added incentive, many local residents travelled out of town. For many it was time to open the cottage and let the springtime in, for others, a boating excursion or suntime at the beach filled the bill. And some just lazed in their back yards, watching their newly -planted garden, apparently looking for some sign of life. Remember last month's snowstorm, anyone? Couple feted at housewarming BLUEVALE — Mr. and Mrs. Mel Craig were pleasantly sur- prised on. Monday evening when their former neighbors from the Browntown area on the second concession of Morris called on them. The Craigs have recently moved to Bluevale so their friends went to have a house- warming and to wish them well in their new home. The evening was spent playing progressive euchre .with ten tables participating. Mrs. Charles Bosman read an address to Mr. and Mrs. Craig; expressfng the group's good wishes. Glen Sellers presented a gift of fireplace accessories. Both Mr. and Mrs. Craig thanked their guests and expressed a welcome to all.
