meeting.
The Howick Central School
ukulele band of approximately 35
members, under the direction of
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Parsons,
provided several selections.
Bruce Robertson, principal of
the school and his daughter
Kendra sang. Miss Mary Beth
Sanderson, winner of the Lions
Club public ' speaking contest
gave her speech, "Unidentified
Flying Objects".
Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Mann,
Karen and David, Mrs. John
Freeman, Wilbert Freeman and
Mrs. Bill Hogg also provided
music.

Orange_ Lodge
meets in Wingham
North Huron County Orange
Lodge met in the Wingham Hall
Wednesday evening,. March 26.
County Master Mitchell led an
interesting discussion on the pro-
posed wording for the 15th edition
of the Orange Ritual which is to
be printed by the Orange Lodge
of Canada in 1976.
In other business, plans were
made to meet for a county church
service, and to attend the cele-
bration in Clinton on July 12.
The meeting closed with a
social half hour and lunch served
by the Winghar'n members.

, GORRIE ^•— The morning
Easter service was held at 11:30
in the United Church -with the

"Fpirest Lord Jesus'' anal "'This
Is Easter Day". The senior choir
sang, "Song of Easter".
Rev. Wesley B. Ball chose as
his sermon, "Surprise, surprise
- the real meaning of Easter, the
amazing surprise of the Resur-
rection". The chancel of the
church was beautified with
Easter lilies placed in memory of
Mr. and Mrs. Fred' Dowd by
their family; a basket of flowers
in memory of Melvin Finlay and
a pot of lilies by the Currah
family.
A community hymn sing at 7:40
began the evening service.. Mr.
Ball based his sermon on,
"Amazing Grace" which is avail-
able to each one of us in our daily
lives.
The. trio comprised of Mrs.
Jack Ferguson, Mrs. Robert
Strong and Mrs. Raymond
Gowdy sang, "Back of the
Clouds". Sleightholm Robinson of
Listowel gave a trombone solo
with ' organ accompaniment by
Mrs. John Freeman, "The Holy
City"
The services were well at-
tended.
