y, March 6, 1075 Whitechurch Personal Notes Mr. and Mrs. Bev Kay, Graham and Wendy visited Sunday afternoon with his moth- er, a patient in Guelph Hespit.M 1, and with her mother, Mrs. Graham of Brampton. George Grigg was released om Wingham hospital on Mon- day. On Thursday those attending the play at Centralia College, in which Brenda Ritchie was taking part, were her mother, Mrs. Clar- ence Ritchie, her grandmothers, Mrs. Gordon Ritchie, Lucknow, and Mrs. Gershom Johnston, Wingham, and Mrs. Walter 1♦ 1liott and Karen. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Purdon and family were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Dickson and family of Belmore. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Laidlaw, Janet and Kimberley visited -on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gordon, Hea er and Scott of Windsor. rihn Falconer and Brad Callum of Sarnia spent the week- end •with the fformer's grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mowbray. Mrs. Kay of Guelph, who last week spent the weekend with her son, P ev Kay, Mrs. Kay and family, on Monday had the misfortune to fall and break her hip. She is now in Guelph Hospital where she underwent surgery. The community wishes her a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Campbell of Scarborough were weekend visitors with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul. Visitors on the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams were Mr. and Mrs. John Adams, Wind- sor, and David Adams. On Monday, Mary Lou Adams of Dy :i visited the same home. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. David Inglis and his brother, Steve, of Liman were visitors wit <i Mrs. Tom Inglis, Tom and : etty Flannigan. Jim Qrr of London visited Sun- day with his mother, Mrs. Will- iam Qrr, at Wingham Hospital and called on his sister, Mrs. John Currie d Mr. Currie of Wingham. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Beecroft, Kevin, Shannon and Heather visited with his par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Beecroft and Karen. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Beecroft, Angela and Jennifer of Exeter visited at the same home. Plans at Brookside School are that on Tuesday grade four pupils go by bus to the Science Centre at Toronto. Pupils from this area, Karen Beecroft, Kendra Purdon and Mandy Miller, will beo . and mothers from here hoping to attend are Mrs. E. W. Beecroft and Mrs. Archie Purdon. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Coutes, were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Miller of Listowel. Calvin -Brick UCW will hold the World Day of Prayer Service on Friday, March 7, at the home of 'Mrs. Alex Robertson, Winghain, with guest speaker Mrs. Andrew Gaunt. Miss Mildred McClenaghan arrived home from Florida on Saturday. Percy McClenaghan of Clinton spent Saturday with her attending to farm repairs. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Norris, and family of Woodstock spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Des Roches. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. John Willis on the arrival of a son at Kincardine Hospital on Friday, February 28, a brother for Jeffery. Mrs. Bill Willis is a patient in Wingham Hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery. Bible study will be held next Saturday evening, March 8, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Steer of Langside at 8:30. BEAUTIFUL TO BEHOLD but difficult to accomplish seems to be the general consensus as Miss Mary Hehn and Miss Merle Wilson concentrate on their flower arrangements at evening school.
