Whitechurch Personal Notes
Bible study is being held this
Saturday evening at the manse.
All are welcome.
Roddy ,i glis of Earlten visited
on the weekend with his mother,
Mrs. Inglis, Betty and Tom and
Mr. and Mrs. ob Adams and
family. Roddy was attending a
convention at London last week
and while there visited with Alex
Inglis at Westminster Hospital.
Mrs. Betty Flannigan visited
on Friday with Alex Inglis at
Westminster.
Miss Mary Lou Adams of Myth
spent the weekend with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Adams.
Mrs. Dave Oberholtzer and
Jeffery of Wingham, Mrs. Mack
Cardiff, Brussels, and Mrs. Bill
Rintoul and her granddaughter
Michelle Gutoski were in Kit-
chener on Wednesday to visit
with Mrs. Harry Gutoski and
by son Michael Harold at the
hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Miling. n,
aara and Mary Lou spent the
weekend in Streetsville with Mr.
and Mrs. Pat Donnelly and
Angela and Mr. and Mrs. Dave
Craig and family. At the home of
her brother, Clinton Ladner, and
Mrs. Ladner they held a family
reunion where eight of them met.
Mary Lou attended a winter
carnival dance on ice Saturday
evening at Huron Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Orr of
Montreal spent the weekend with
his relatives here and visited with
his mother, a patient in Wingham
and District Hospital.
Wendy Kay returned home on
Saturday after attending the
winter carnival at Quebec City
with others from F. E. Madill for
four days.
Jane Laidlaw of London, Paul
Lail law of Guelph spent e
weekend with their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Elroy Lai +, law. On Sun -

also visited with them.

Mrs. Charlie Machan and Mr.
and Mrs. Bob Machan and family
of Blyth visited on Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Durnin.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Hunter and
Trevor of London spent the week-
end with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Wallace Conn.
Patsy Scott informs us that the.
Wingham girls' hockey team the
Wingham Flyers, of which she is
a member, was at the hockey
tournament on the weekend at
Wallaceburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wilken and
family of Listowel were Friday
evening visitors with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Earl. Wilken.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moss of
Plattsville were. Sunday visitors
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Ben McClenaghan, and Mr. and
Mrs. Carl McClenaghan.
Quite a few from here attended
the ice carnival in Wingham
arena on Saturday evening.
Ontario Hydro has reforested
more than 2,500 acres of land in
the past three decades. The pro-
gram has involved the planting of
more than 2,000,000 trees.

cussed the art of witchcraft, deal-
ing with it under several different
hea .,'ngs.
ev Kay opened the meeting
with prayer and Kathy Purdon
read scripture from the Gospel. of
St. Matthew and Pa 's letter to
the Ephesians. The offering was
received and dedicated by John
de : oer.
The minutes of the last meeting
were read for secretary Lori
Purdon by Kathy Purdon. It was
decided to hold an executive
meeting.
The meeting closed with the
Lord's Prayer. Grace was sung
and lunch served to the 15 in
attendance.
At lunchtime, Graham Kay led
a singsong with his guitar.
