The Ontario government has
!launched an education program'
aimed at convincing motorists to
wear seat belts, it was announced
by Transportation and Com-

Rhodes.
In making the announcement,
Mr. Rhodes seed the government
has decided not to make ' the
wearing of seat belts compulsory
because of a lack of citizen sup-
port anti enforcement problems.
"It has been this government's
decision tttat the wearing of seat
belts will not become compulsory
because far too many people are
against such legislation," the
Minister said. "And, we don't
want to declare war on motorists
who do not buckle up."
