A lifelong resident of Hullett
Township, Mrs. Wesley. Hoggart,
died Sunday, November 24, at
Huronview, Clinton, following a
lengthy illness. She was in her
77th year.
The former Etta Brown, Mrs.
Hoggart was born and educated
in Hullett Township. Following
her marriage to Mr. Hoggart on
Janurary 1, 1918, they farmed in
Hullett until their •retirement
about 16 years ago when they
moved to Clinton. A member of
the Ontario Street United Church,
Clinton, she has resided at
Huronview since .March of this
year.
Surviving are one daughter,
Mrs. Oliver (Thelma) Pryce of
RR I, Dublin; two sons, Ivan of
Clinton and Ross of Bluevale;
nine grandchildren and ten great-
grandchildren. Also surviving
are, two sisters, Mrs. Gordon
(Flossie) Curts of Arkona and.
Mrs. Ed (Elsie) Youngblut of
Clinton. She was predeceased by
one sister, Mrs. William (Mabel)
Hoggart:
The late Mrs. Hoggart rested at
the Ball Funeral Home, Clinton,
where service was held Tuesday
afternoon at two o'clock. Inter-
ment followed in Clinton Ceme-
tery.

Kindergarten studied plants
and the importance of water to
plant life. Each one planted his.
own plant and hopes to keep it liv-
ing and blooming this winter.
Grades 3 and 4 have finished
reading Tom Sawyer. The child-
ren did some group activities
stemming from the book. One,
group drew a�mural titled "Tom
and Becky Loss- in the Cave",
another group wrote further
adventures of Tom Sawyer. We
also designed new covers for the
book. One other group picked
seven main ideas from the story
and illustrated them. On Wed-
nesday we gave a short presenta-
tion to the rest of the school.
Grade 2 visited the church on
Thursday. Father Nolan showed
the children different objects
used in Bappisittljeliklao read

our trip.
