TAYLOR—At the Wingham and
District Hospital on Saturday,
November 2, Archibald Gordon
Taylor of Howick Township, in
his 64th year. Death followed a
lengthy illness. He was born in
Howick Township and was .a
retired farmer. Surviving is
one brother, William of Howick
Township. He was predeceased .
.by two brothers, John and Cla-
rence. The late Mr. Taylor
rested at the Moir Funeral
Home, Gorrie, whet a service
was conducted Tuesday, No-
vember 5, by William Parker of
St. Stephen's Anglican Church,
Gorrie. Interment followed
in Wroxeter Cemetery. Pall-
bearers were George Gibson,
Wes Newton, Allan Griffith,
Laverne Houser, Wes Paulin
and Jim Sanderson.
MOVE TO LISTOWEL
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Miller of
Goderich have moved to Listowel
where they have rented an apart-
ment in the Profesonal Build-
ing, Wallace north. Mr. Miller,
who is the son of Wingham
mayor, DeWitt Miller and Mrs.
Miller, has joined the accoun-
tancy staff of Ward and Upti-
grove in Listowel. Mrs. Miller is

tection, forestry wildlife man-
agement and conservation edu-

bear the Authority's share of the

Belgrave youth
hospitalized
A Belgrave resident, Albert
Vincent, was hospitalized on Nov.
6, following a motor vehicle acci-
dent on Highway 4, north of the
Blyth CPR crossing. Mr. Vincent,
who was a passenger in the car, is
listed in satisfactory condition in
Wingham and District Hospital,
suffering from lacerations and
abrasions to chest and face and a
neck injury. The injured youth's
brother, Neil Vincent, was
unharmed in the single car mis-
hap. Investigating OPP officers
have set damage " estimates at
$2,000.
On Nov. 8, a London couple,
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stauffer,
was admitted to hospital follow-
ing a single car accident on High-
way 4, south of the Maitland
River Bridge in East Wawanosh
Township. Both were injured
when their car ran o'ff the road
and rolled into a ditch. Hospital
sources have not released the
nature of the couple's injuries but
say they are in satisfactory
condition, The Stauffer car sus-
tajned an estimated $2,500 worth
of damages.
