holds meeting
WHITECHUIICH — Leaders
Mrs. Archie Purdon and Mrs.
Hugh Simpson were in charge
when the Chalmers Children of
the Church met on Sunday in the
Sunday school room of the
church. The meeting opened with
the repeating of the C.O.C. hymn
and David Ross lead the scrip-
ture. Prayer was led by Donald
de Boer,
The minutes were read by
secretary Clara Milligan who
also called the roll. Sixteen
answered with a verse containing
the word `thanks'. The birthdays
were then marked on the
calendar.
The offering was received by
Andy Versteeg and dedicated by
Clara Milligan.
Mrs. Purdon told a story,
"Autumn in God's World", to the
juniors. Mrs. Simpson told a
story from the Bible Story Book
and also told the seniors a story
entitled "Shoes".
Everyone joined in singing the
closing prayer.

The first dance of the year was
held from 9 p.m, until midnight
on Friday, Sept. 27. The band
Farmer played to a good crowd
for this back -to -school special,.
The evening was enjoyed by all
