Rev. J. H. Newstead. The bride is the former • Pamela
Jagelewski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, George Jagelewski of
Walkerton. Parents of the groorri are Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Hergott also of Walkerton. The bride is an X-ray technician
and was formerly on the staff of the Wingham and District

Jack Kings are
wed 25 years
party was held Saturday evening
at the Howick Community Centre
in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Jack
King of Guelph, formerly of
Fordvvich, on the occasion of
their 25th wedding anniversary.
Jack and Frances were
married in Fordwich Anglican
Church. Jack was employed for
cv.erA At the F9rdwil,ch
Borden's Listowel plant. About
three years ago they left here to
take up residence in Guelph
where he is working for Gay Lee.
They have two sons, Randy of
Fordwich and Roger of Guelph
and two grandsons.
They were presented with
many lovely gifts and music for
dancing was supplied by Ben-
netts orchestra. Friends, and
relatives attended from
Harriston, Hanover, Palmerston,
Goderich, London, Guelph,
Toronto, Listowel, Tecumseh,
Gowanstown, Grand Valley,
Gorrie, Wingham and Fordwich.

BELMORE — Friends and
neighbours gathered Monday
evening in the community center
here for a shower in honorof Mr.
and Mrs. Ron Harkness.
Music was provided by Russ
and Dale, following wiiich Mac
Inglis addressed the couple. They
were presented by Elmer
Haskins with a purse of money as
well as a miniature hockey stick,
autographed by members of the
girls' hockey team which Ron
coached.
Ron and Carolyn both ex-
pressed thanks. Lunch was en-
joyed by all.

—Guest speakers at St. An-
drew's Presbyterian Church on
Sunday morning were A. Douglas
Campbell and Martin Baan of
Walton, speaking on behalf of the
Gideons International in Canada.
The Gideons' objective in this
area,'.from June 1, 1973, to May
31, 1974, was $2,700. Because of
the wonderful response they were
able to forward S4,200 to head-
quarters. •
—Mr. and Mrs. Bill Henderson
Jr. and family left yesterday
(Wednesday) for Toronto where
Mr. and Mrs. Henderson will
resume studies at the Salvation
Army Officers' College.
—Captain Albert Murkin con-
ducted the morning worship
service at—the Salvation Army
Citadel and delivered a timely
message. Mrs. Murkin spoke at
the evening service in the citadel.
Mrs. Bill Henderson presided at
the piano and Steve Sallows was
at the consitile of the organ. He
also sang a olo, "Shepherd of
Love".
