Dale Brian Edgar of Teeswater
in St. Andrew's Presbyterian
aturch, Winghtmi, on Saturday,
July 27, at 4 p.m. Rev. R. H.
Armstrong officiated at the
ceremony and Steve &Wows
presided at the console of the
organ and sang two solos, "The
Wonder of You" and "The
Twelfth of Never", during the
ceremony.
Parents of bride are Mr. and
Mrs. Doug Cerson of Wingham.
The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Earl Edgar of Teeswater.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a ,floor -
length gown of peau de sole
fashioned with a mandarin
collar, squar neckline, long
sleeves with flared cuffs and a
hemline flounce trimmed with
lace. A Juliet cap held her long
veil edged with lace to match the
dress and she carried a bouquet
of red roses.

Barrie, cousin of .the bride, was

ingly attired in a floor -length
gown of red and white polka-dot
material. Her gown featured a
round neckline, little flounce
sleeves and peek-a-boo back, She
wore a white hat with a red and
white polka-dot sash andshe
carried a bouquet of white and
red citrnations.
In similar ensembles were two
friends of the bride who acted as
bridesmaids, •Mrs. Donna
Cameron of Wingham and Miss
Marilyn Morgan of Toronto.
Flower girl Christine Cerson,
niece of the bride, of Wingham,
was a tiny duplicate of the senior
attendants in a similarly -styled
gown.
Groomsman was, Minty Edgar
of Toronto and guests were
ushered by Larry Cerson of
Wingham and Donald Edgar of
Kitchener. A nephew of the bride,
Doug Cerson. of Wingham, was
ring bearer. .
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held at the
Wingham Legion Hall where
guests were received by mothers
of the bridal couple. The bride's
mother wore a floor -length gown
of mint green polyester knit with
a corsage of white roses. The
groom's mother chose a floor -
length gown in white and mauve
flowered print with a full-length
matching, coat. A corsage of
yellow roses complemented her
ensemble.
For travelling to Northern
Ontario, the bride changed to a
polyester knit cream -colored
pantsuit with short sleeved jacket
trimmed in brown. On their
return, the couple took up
residence in Kitchener.
Honoredguests at the wedding
were grandparents of the bride,
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Griffin of
Flint, Michigan, and the bride's
grandmother, Mrs. Mafy Clay Of
Toronto. Other guests
attended from Toronto, London,
Davison, Michigan, Stratford,
Guelph, Peterborough, Elmvale,
Kitchener, Cambridge (Galt),
Listowel and Barrie.

Laura Inglis, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Inglis of

daughter of George Inglis and
Alfred Filsinger, graduated
from Victoria Hospital School
of Nursing, London, Ontario
on August 2. Following the
graduation exercises at Cen-
tennial Hall, a dinner, party
was held at The Garage in
London.
Laura has accepted 'a
position in the Intensive Care
Unit at Victoria Hospital and
commences her duties on the
19th of this month. /

Don and Cathy chose to write
their own vows to God and each
other -and ' to symbolize their
-union through a. special candle -
lighting ceremony. Throughout
the service, the congregation was
involved in 'worship through the
singing of praises to God as the
bride and groom endeavored to
make their special day not just a
social occasion but celebration of
praise to 'God.
The bride and groom .spent
their honeymoon camping at
Sauble Beach before returning to
Toronto where they will reside.

bride of Garry Russel Ashmore of

united the couple in marriage in a

Thorndale sang The, Lord's Pray-
er and the theme from "Love
Story".
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. H. L. Spry of RR 1,
Hyde Park. Parents of the groom
are Mr. and Mrs. Russel Ash-
more of Sudbury.
Escorted down the aisle by her
father, who gave her in mar-
riage, the bride was charmingly
attired in a gown of delustered
satitrwith fitted empire waistline
of Chantilly lace and long lace
sleeves with fitted cuffs accented
by tiny velvet bows. This motif
was repeated at the back of the
train and on the headband of her
veil. She carried a cascade of
yellow roses and steplianotis.
Mrs. Judy Wilson of Sudbury
was matron of honor and brides-
maids were Karen Buchanan,
sister of the groom, of Sudbury,
and Linda Dufton of Thorndale.
They wore identical gowns of
flocked nylon sheer in a butter..
cup yellow shade. They wore
sprigs of flowers in their hair and
carried white baskets of white
daisies and cornflowers.
Don Wilson of Sudbury was
groomsman and guests were
ushered by Doug Spry, brother of
the bride, of Toronto, and Ron
- Buchanan of Sudbury. The groom
and his attendants wore brown
tuxedos with brown velvet lapels
and yellow ruffled shirts.
Following the ceremony, a re-
ception was held at the Club
Allouette, Sudbury, where guests
from Strathroy, London, Thorn -
dale, Toronto, ,Uxbridge, Wing -
ham, Barrie, MOntreal, Sudbury,
Sault Ste. Marie, Orangeville and
Victoria,' British Columbia, were
received by the mothers of the
bride and groom. The bride's
mother wore a floor -length gown
of mint green shantung with
crystal beading on the bodice.
Her corsage was an orchid in two
shades of 'yellow.
The groom's mother chose a ,
floor -length gown of royal blue
flowered nylon sheer. An orchid
in two shades of pink com-
plemented her ensemble.
For travelling to Northern On-
tario, then south to Niagara Falls
and London, the bride'changed to
a yellow dress with embroidered
motifs on the sleeves and collar.
Her accessories were white and
she wore a corsage to match her
dress.
Mr. and Mrs. Ashmore are
residing at 1147 Ramsey View
Court, Apt. 704, Sudbury.
The bride IA a graduate of Lon-
