Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Crowston spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Laidlaw and family, and with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Crowston of Luoknow, and other relatives. Quite a few from here attended the celebration at Teeswater on Saturday and report a very in- teresting day. spent the weekend at her home and her grandmother, Mrs. Gordon Elliott, returned to her home in Wingham on the week- end after a week at the farm. Paul Elliott arrived home on Saturday from a trip to the west coast. Mrs. Gershom Johnston and George Grigg spent Sunday with Mrs. Lois McMichael of Seaforth. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moss of Plattsvalle visited from Saturday to Monday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben McClenaghan. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moss of Plattsville and Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClenaghan visited at Paisley with Brian Stout. This community was sorry to learn that the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy McInnes of Goderich was burned Sunday afternoon. Mrs. McInnes was the former Olive Kennedy whose home was where Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams now reside. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ryan of Goderich visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ben McClenaghan. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Emerson, Darlene and Sharon of St. Catharines, Cleo Gignac, her father, of Sudbury, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gignac and Colette of Kit- chener spent the weekend at the Emerson farm home on the 12th concession of West Wawanosh and with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Green - leas and Mr. and Mrs. Stan Chis- holm of Acton called Sunday on Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Graham of Lucknow were also Sunday eve- ning visitors. Miss Gayle Rintoul of Toronto - Dominion Bank is this week on holidays. Her brothers, Brian and Garry on Sunday took her to King to spend a few days with her brother, Leroy, Mrs. Rantoul and family. Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Bailey spent their holidays in Toronto with daughter Leslie and other rela- tives. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gutoskie and Michelle of Kitchener spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul. Charles Thompson of Lindsay spent the weekend with his urch mother, Mrs. George Epson, and Earl. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thompson of Nottawa were Sunday visitors with Mrs. George Thome: and Earl. Mrs. Tom Inglis was able to return home on Friday from Wingham and District .Hocipital. Mr, and Mrs. Jim Smith of Goderich were weekend visitors with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams. Mrs. Betty Flannigan and Mrs. Bob Adams visited Sunda with their brother, Alex Inglis, at Westminster Hospital and found him improved. Mr. and Mrs. John Inglfis .and Stephen of Kingsville spent the weekend with his mother,' Mrs. Mrs. ,Jit? and Mr. and Mac's. and flintily.
