memorial hall with Mrs. Albert

Ode and repeating the Creed. The
minutes were read by the
secretary, Mrs. George Fisher,
who also gave a financial report.

•Given in marriage by her
parents, the bride wore a floor -
length gowfi of white peau de sole
with long lilypoint sleeves with
tiny white covered buttons and a
high scalloped neckline. The
fitted bodice had an overlay of
lace accented with seed pearls
and sequins. A deep pleat at the
front with the same lace on each
side was trimtned with a bow and
a long full gathered train ac-
cented with a bow extended from
the waistline. Her four -tiered
shoulder -length veil, sprinkled
with sequins and pearls, was held
by a tiny pearl headpiece and she
wore a tiny gold maple leaf
pendant worn by her mother on
her wedding day. She carried a
cascade arrangement of yellow
. roses, • orange daisies, yellow
•carnations and baby's breath.
Miss Linda Mewhimiey of Kit-
chener, a friend of the bride, was
maid of honor and bridesmaids
were the bride's cousin, Barbara
Aitchison of Lucknow, Elaine •
Brown, sister-in-law of the
Ooom, and the groom's sister,
Caroline Roche, both of
Gitierich, and Annabelle Aitchi-
son, sister-in-law of the bride, of

crystalette embossed with tiny
velvet orange roses and styled
with empire' waistline and' short
puffed sleeves. The square neck-
line had a narrow gathered ruffle
and there was a wide ruffle at the
hemline of the dress. Orange
velvet ribbon adorned the waist
line and tied in a bow at the back
with long streamers, also tiny
• orange velvet bows trimmed the
sleeve bands. Their headdresses
were puffs of narrow orange
ribbon and white net with short
streamers and they carried
'baskets of white shasta daisies.
In similar attire were the
flower girls, Lorri Ann Aitchison
of Ripley and Leslie Roche of
Goderich, nieces of the bride and
groom.
Lyle Brown of Goderich was his
brother's best man and guests
tyere ushered by the bride's
brothers, Doug Aitchison of
Lucknow and Jack Aitchison of
Ripley, and friends of the groom,
Paul Elgie and Blair Leibold of
Wingham. They wore white
jackets with black velvet trim
and orange tinted carnation
boutonnieres.
Following the wedding, a
reception was held at the _Luck -
now Legion Hall where the head
table was centred with a three:
tiered wedding cake. The bride's
Mother wore a blue floral floor -
length gown with a corsage of
bronze mums. The mother of the
groom choSe a floral floor -length
gown in shades of rose and blue.
A corsage of white mums com-
pleted her ensemble.
The bride and groom left for a
tWO-week honeymoon to the East
Coast, the bride travelling in a
yellow and green flowered silk
dress with white accessories and
I a corsage of yellow mums. They
Will reside at 92 Victoria Street,
Wingham.
•The bride is employed by
CKNX Radio and the groom is an
eniployee of Western Foundry.
• Prior to her marriage, the
bride was honored at four
showers: a relative shower at the
hoot of 4firs: Jack -Aitchison,
a kitchenware One at the
home of a friend, Mrs. Bob
Steffen, Wingharn ; mis-
cellaneous gifts presented by the
