men's Club, including
Bruce F'oxton, Bob Brandon and
Bob Foxton are regular members
of Brohpy's and were forced to
play against their clubmates in
this contest.
Bob Foxton was the big noise at
the plate for Bro hy's, clubbing,
two triples and two singles for
four hits. Doug Foxton, Glen
Casemore and Gary Storey
punched three hits each while
Gerry Edwards, George Fouler)
and Bob Brandon had a pair of
safeties each. 'Frank Heard and
Dick Eskerod managed a hit each
to complete the 21 -hit Brophy
attack. Bruce Foxton, Ed
Deichert, Des Brophy and
Welwood completed the Brophy
lineup.
No details as to the Saturday
eirening for the. pork barbecue
are available yet but tenth inning
talk after the game indicated it
would be held in July and .the
Sportsmen will barbecue a whole

Sportsmen, accounting for four of
the seven hits given up by Brophy
hurler Girdle Welwood. Wayne
Leachman belted a triple and
single, his brother Brian tad a
single and Anstett connected for
a pair of singles, John Cox and
Grant Wall connected for the
other Sportsmen hits.

enjoy bus tour
BELGRAVE Thursday,
June 20, was bright and sunny for
the Women's Institute bus trip.
Thirty-four women took ad-
vantage of the trip to visit the
Enchanted Doll House near
Guelph. Here they were . privi-
leged to reminisce as they viewed
900 dolls including Mother Goose
and the nursery rhymes, stories
from the Bible, dolls from .55
countries, historical .dolls, the
Kennedys, Sir Winston Churchill,
antique dolls, ones made of ap-
ples, bread, straw corn husks 'and
many more, and an Indian
display.
The charming hostess invited
the group into her home where
her oil paintings and five quilts
were displayed.
The travellers continued on
their way to the Elora park for
lunch, then to Mill Street., Elora,
to the museum and boutique
shops. A shopping' plaza in
Guelph was the last place to call.
Tired in body but refreshed in
mind the group arrived home in
the early evening.
