50 attend Guelph .area reunion
The 43rd Kennedy reunion was
held June 8, in the Morriston
area, near Guelph and 50 rela-
tives attended. Dinner was
served at 12:30 in the Badenoch
Community Centre. The meal
was followed by a business meet-
ing and an enjoyable program.
The McEdwards sisters invited
everyone who attended to their
home for a social hour.
Several area residents at-
tended the reunion and they
were: Miss Anne Kennedy of
Wingham, Miss Kay McIntosh
and J. U. Durnin of Lucknow, Mr.
and Mrs. William Robertson and
family of Auburn, Mrs. Ruby
Cranston and Mr. and Mrs. Roy
McInnes and grandson of
Goderich.
Mr. and Mrs. Collins and
family of Marlette, Michigan,
Mrs. E. Farquharson of Kam-
loops, B.C. and Mr. and Mrs. O.
Bishop of Vancouver, B.C. were
among the relatives who
travelled a great distance to the
reunion. There was also a num-
ber of relatives in attendance
from Toronto and the Guelph
area.

anniversary
BLUEVALE — The 117th an-
niversary service was held in
Knox Presbyterian Church, Blue -
vale on Sunday at 11 a.m. Rev.
John C. Brush of Molesworth and
Gerrie was guest speaker. The
choir sang, "Glory in My Soul"
and Larry Elliott sang "Bless
This House".
Rev. Brush's sermon was "The
Church's Greatest Need".
"Awakening Chorus" was sung
for the final anthem, Mrs. Ross
Hoggart was organist.
Wroxeter•Personal,
Mrs. Clarence White, Miss
Lucelle White, Mrs. Bill Cullen,
Heather end Corrin, Mrs. Gra-
ham MacLeod, all of Toronto,
and Miss Laurie Cullen, Tucson,
Arizona, spent the weekend at the
family summer home here with
Mrs. White and Mrs. MacLeod
remaining.
Miss Vera Peircey, London, is
visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Mac
Allan.
Mr. and Mrs. Vern Clark were
Sunday supper guests with Mr.
and Mrs. Bud Stewart, Harriston.
Allan Griffith and Miss Hazel
Spading accompanied Edmund
and Ross Green of Holyrood to
Orangeville on Sunday where
they visited Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Montgomery.
Mrs. Laura Fowlie and Ken
Leaver, Smith's Falls, spent a
few days last week with the for-
mer's brother-in-law and sister,
Mr: and Mrs. Clarence Clement.
We are sorry to hear Tom
Shore had the misfortune to
break his wrist on Saturday whiot,
he fell from a ladder at his home.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas. Scott,
Toronto, visited Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Wilson on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Nixon
entertained at their home in
Fordwich on Sunday with a
family dinner in honor of Mme..
George Griffith and Miss Nellie
Ball (latter of Listowel), who
celebrated birthdays.
Jamie Sanderson, Toronto, was
a weekend visitor with his:
parents, Mr. and Mrs. James
Sanderson.
Mr. and Mrs. Ross Toman
visited the former's uncle,
Herman Kavelman, at Ayr one
day last week and also called on
Wallace Toman at New Ham,
burg.
Mrs. William Hart, Mrs. Ross
Sanderson and George Hislop
visited at the home of their sister,

On Sunday morning. Mrs. Stan
Gallaher visited the Wrogeter
United Church Sunday School.
and presented Bibles to all the
teachers and pupils. This gesture
is, greatly appreciated.
Sunday, June in, the minister
of Wroxeter and Gorrie United
Churches, Rev. G. W. Sach, was
back at his former church at
Lucan as anniversary guest and
our guest minister was Rev. F.
Ewart Madden of Lucan.

Gordon (Pete) Yeoman of
Wroxeter visited the past week in
Winnipeg with Mr. and Mrs.
Craig Matthews. Mr. Yeoman
had the good fortune to Make the
trip both ways in one of Canada's
largest jets.
THIS IS WHAT it was all about on Saturday. The boys of the Wingham Cubs end Scouts
travelled through the area in the hopes that residents hoc( placed enough enouglyold papers out to
fill this transport traller, and hopefully more. Although the actual tally Of how. ITlu+cl was:
collected and what it is worth has not been released, from the appearance of the trailer the
